We are seeking a skilled Senior Risk Management Specialist to join our team.

\r

About the Role:

  • \r
  • Achieve sustainable profit and growth through the provision of specialist advice, direction and technical support\r
  • Provide excellent levels of customer service to all Insurance Agents within your assigned portfolio\r
  • Manage business risk in accordance with business plans within set underwriting guidelines, service standards and individual earned authority\r

Your Responsibilities:

  1. \r
  2. Assess new business and renewals providing quotes in a timely and professional manner\r
  3. Participate in meetings to support the development of strategy, share knowledge and best practice\r
  4. Monitor and review risk management standards procedures and checklists\r
  5. Ensure all documentation is accurate and complies with organizational guidelines and legislative requirements\r
  6. Develop and maintain good working relationships with all customers, intermediaries and internal stakeholders\r
  7. Evaluate risk for new business in accordance with standards, to ensure profitable growth\r
  8. Maintain strong knowledge of current legislation, best practice, risk acceptance levels, systems and organisational guidelines\r

Requirements:

  • \r
  • Commercial background will be an advantage\r
  • Previous experience in Business Packages and Farm preferred\r
  • Flexibility to work across a changing portfolio\r
  • Strong/established customer/broker relationships\r
  • Broad understanding of class specific risk management and reinsurance knowledge\r
  • Proven knowledge of relevant market conditions for specific class/portfolio\r
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail\r
