Data Center Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Maintenance Technician to join our team at CBRE. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our data centers and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Operational Excellence: Ensure that maintenance activities within the data centers are carried out with due regard to Health and Safety, business risk, and maintaining 100% uptime criteria.
- Maintenance and Repair: Carry out routine planned preventative maintenance tasks as required, including maintenance of HV and LV distribution systems, associated plant/equipment, and HVAC mechanical cooling/heating systems.
- Troubleshooting and Fault Resolution: Monitor BMS for running and alarm conditions, investigate faults, identify root causes, and effect remedies.
- Reporting and Record Keeping: Prepare accurate/timely service/incident reports as required and ensure corrective/repair works are carried out in accordance with current regulations.
- Team Collaboration: Participate in emergency call-out roster, provide cover for weekend and team member absences, and develop a comprehensive understanding of the building(s) infrastructure and their layouts, functions, and complexities.
- Customer Focus: Deliver effective communication through advice, review, leadership, and direct contribution to team meetings, briefings, correspondence, monthly, and ad-hoc reporting, as appropriate.
- Essential Qualifications NSW Electrical License or NSW HVAC/Refrigeration License is required.
- Desirable Skills Strong understanding of ticketing or workflow management systems and tools, experience of managing escalation and emergency issues, good building services knowledge, and good customer relationship skills.
