The job entails ensuring a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors by conducting regular patrols, responding to incidents, and maintaining visibility throughout the hospital premises.
- Monitor hospital areas for safety concerns.
- Conduct routine patrols across hospital grounds to prevent and respond to potential threats.
- Identify and report any suspicious activities or hazards.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents and patrol activities.
Candidates are expected to hold relevant security certifications and qualifications. A Certificate II in Security Operations (CPP20218) is mandatory, while a Certificate IV in Security Management (CPP40719) is beneficial. Additionally, First Aid/CPR certificates and Working With Children Checks are required.
