Security Officer Role

As a Security Officer, you play a vital role in maintaining a secure and safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor hospital premises to ensure safety and security;
  • Conduct regular patrols across hospital grounds, including parking areas and entrances;
  • Report any suspicious activity, breaches, or safety hazards to the relevant authorities;
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents, patrols, and safety reports.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Certificate II in Security Operations (CPP20218);
  • A valid Victorian Private Security Individual Licence;
  • Current First Aid/CPR certificates and Working With Children Checks;
  • A Certificate IV in Security Management (CPP40719) would be beneficial.
