The Role
We are currently seeking a Business Analyst to join our Supermarkets Operations Finance team. In this position, you will work closely with the stock loss leadership team, providing critical insights into stock loss trends and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the stock loss leadership team to analyze data and advise on initiatives that enhance stock loss performance in stores.
- Deliver insightful analysis and clear commentary on a departmental and state level.
- Support finance teams and stakeholders with reporting requirements and analysis on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
- Lead key processes, including the monthly forecast and annual operating plan, while tracking essential initiatives.
- Conduct ad hoc analysis as needed and engage with stakeholders to drive actionable insights.
- Identify and implement process improvements across the broader Food Group Finance Team.
Qualifications
- Experience in a multinational FMCG environment, supporting national retail teams.
- CA/CPA qualification is preferred.
- Strong business partnering skills with the ability to communicate effectively and solve problems analytically.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic working environment.
- Experience in budgeting, reporting, and analysis is advantageous.
- Proficiency in data analytics and visualization tools to inform business decisions.
- Familiarity with systems such as SAP and Business Objects, along with advanced financial modeling skills and experience with SQL, GCP, and Tableau.
