Business Operations Analyst | National Finance

About Woolworths Group

Our finance team is a high-performing, innovative, and diverse team across Australia and New Zealand, and we're looking for a Business Operations Analyst to join our Supermarket National Operations Finance Team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver weekly sales and items reporting, responding to changes in business needs or sales mix
  • Be the subject matter expert for store scorecards, including evolution, target setting, dashboard maintenance, and month-end reporting
  • Support half-yearly scorecard proposal calculations and the STIP exceptions process
  • Take ownership of regional, national, and store enablement overheads, including business partnering, identifying areas for improvement, and driving action
  • Lead the bottom-up budget build for ops controllable other store expenses, enabling state review and ownership of state files
  • Collaborate closely with Supermarkets business partners to provide ad-hoc analysis and ensure financial accountability and accuracy

Requirements

  • Finance-related degree and CA/CPA qualified or working towards
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills, stakeholder management, and relationship building skills
  • Passionate about enabling business decisions by understanding cost drivers and identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Systems experience (GCP, SAP, and Business Objects) and advanced Excel/modelling skills
