Electrical Project Coordinator Job Overview

The Electrical Project Coordinator is a senior role responsible for the management of complex electrical projects from conception to completion.

Key responsibilities include leading and supervising site contractors, ensuring installations are deployed and tested in accordance with requirements, maintaining a safe working environment, enforcing site safety and compliance, and coordinating installation and inspections.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required, as well as experience managing people and sub-contractors in a construction environment. A sound knowledge of electrical standards and regulations is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise site contractors to ensure installations meet requirements and are maintained in a safe condition.
  • Manage site safety, enforce compliance, and coordinate installation and inspections.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of all on-site works.
  • Manage storage and inventory of materials and equipment.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience as an Electrical Supervisor on significant infrastructure or industrial projects.
  • Electrical Trade Qualification and current Victorian Electrical License.
  • Sound knowledge of electrical AUS/NZ standards and construction safety regulations.
