Electrical Project Manager Role

We are seeking a technically strong Electrical Project Manager to join our Building/Technical Services team.

This role is ideal for someone early to mid-career with experience in delivering complex electrical and/or controls systems projects.

The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in electrical and/or controls systems, ideally gained through experience in a design consultancy or MEP services delivery contracting environment.

A solid technical capability is essential to support the delivery of projects in live, operational environments where managing risks such as live cutovers and complex design interdependencies is critical.

The focus is on electrical expertise but we will consider exceptional candidates from a mechanical background who also have demonstrated experience in electrical delivery.

Our projects span across Melbourne and nationally, supporting some of Australia's largest property holders with technical upgrades and sustainability-driven CAPEX programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery of electrical building services projects with a strong emphasis on electrical and controls systems.
  • Manage the design and delivery of electrical projects in live, operational environments.
  • Develop and grow the company's technical services offering across client portfolios.
  • Plan and oversee works with a focus on safety, quality, and performance outcomes.
  • Establish and manage project governance, reporting, and change control processes.
  • Interface with clients, consultants, and contractors across all project stages.
  • Support procurement activities and tender evaluations.
Qualifications
  • 5-10 years of experience in building/technical services with a strong focus on electrical and/or controls systems.
  • Background in design consultancy or MEP services delivery contracting.
  • Strong technical capability and deep understanding of building systems.
  • Proven experience managing projects in live, operational environments.
  • Tertiary qualification in engineering (electrical/mechanical) is required or substantial demonstrable industry experience in a relevant technical field.
