About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Care Services Employee at St Vincent's Health Australia. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with residents to support their daily routine, personal care needs, lifestyle, and choices
- Ensure residents feel safe, valued, respected, and engaged
- Work collaboratively with a supportive and dedicated team to provide person-centred care
- Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care and services
Requirements:
- Certificate III in Individual Support/Aged Care or similar qualifications
- 6 months+ experience in a similar role with residential aged care experience highly regarded
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Experience with Autumn Care (or similar software) with the ability to maintain excellent records
- Understanding of Aged Care, resident rights/responsibilities with the ability to follow the care plan
