Care Services Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Care Services Employee at St Vincent's Care Services Bronte.
As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
You will work collaboratively with our residents, their families, and our multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centered care that promotes independence, dignity, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct care and assistance to residents with activities of daily living, personal care needs, and daily household tasks.
- Support residents to maintain their independence and engage in activities that promote their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
- Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs and preferences of each resident.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the care team to ensure seamless care delivery and address any concerns or issues that may arise.
- Contribute to a positive and respectful work environment that promotes a culture of compassion, empathy, and kindness.
- Certificate III in Individual Support/Aged Care or similar qualifications.
- 6 months+ experience in a similar role with residential aged care experience highly regarded.
- Availability to work shifts on a flexible basis.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Experience with AutumnCare (or similar software) with ability to maintain excellent records.
- Understanding of Aged Care, resident rights/responsibilities with ability to follow the care plan.
