We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Care Staff Employee at St Vincent's Care Services Heathcote. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents, providing high-quality care and support that is tailored to their individual needs and preferences.
About the Role
- Provide person-centred care and support to residents, promoting their independence, dignity, and well-being.
- Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement individualised care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
- Assist residents with daily living activities, such as personal care, mobility, and medication management.
- Engage with residents in a variety of activities, including social events, outings, and hobbies, to promote their physical and emotional well-being.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.

Requirements
- Certificate III in Individual Support/Aged Care or similar qualifications.
- Minimum 1.5 years of experience in a similar role with residential aged care experience highly regarded.
- Ability to work various shifts, including AM, PM, and Night shifts, on a permanent basis.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Experience with AutumnCare (or similar software) with ability to maintain excellent records.
- Understanding of Aged Care, resident rights/responsibilities with ability to follow the care plan.
