About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Desk Support Specialist to join our team at the State Government of Victoria, Australia. As a Service Desk Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing level 1 and 2 IT support to our clients, including Members of Parliament.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain high levels of ownership throughout an incident lifecycle to satisfactory resolution.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with users by demonstrating a detailed understanding of their support requirements.
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure all stakeholders remain informed along the journey.
  • Apply a methodical approach to problem solving and ensure all stakeholders remain informed along the journey.
  • Go above and beyond to meet client expectations and thrive in a collaborative working environment.

About You

You will have a working knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, Outlook, desktop computers, printers, and devices. You will also have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to develop and maintain effective working relationships with users.
