Your expertise will be essential in ensuring that projects are completed safely and efficiently, and that they meet the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Construct, repair, and maintain structures using brick, stone, and other materials
- Lay out work according to blueprints or specifications
- Mix mortar or grout and spread it onto a slab or foundation
- Cut, shape, and finish stones or bricks using hand or power tools
- Ensure that structures are level, plumb, and straight
- Patch or replace damaged brick or stone work
- Clean and maintain tools and equipment
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Mason
- Knowledge of different types of masonry work, materials, and techniques
- Ability to interpret blueprints and layouts
- Strong physical stamina and hand-eye coordination
- Knowledge of safety guidelines and procedures
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
