At IIQAF, we are seeking an experienced Mason to construct, repair, and maintain structures made of brick, stone, and other similar materials. As a Mason, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed safely and efficiently, and that they meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Construct and repair structures using various materials, including brick, stone, and mortar.
  • Lay out work according to blueprints or specifications, demonstrating attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Mix and apply mortar or grout to create strong bonds between materials.
  • Cut, shape, and finish stones or bricks using hand or power tools, showcasing manual dexterity and precision.
  • Evaluate structures to ensure they are level, plumb, and straight, identifying potential issues and implementing corrective actions.
  • Patch or replace damaged brick or stone work, restoring structures to their original condition.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working order, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Mason, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • In-depth knowledge of different types of masonry work, materials, and techniques, including safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and layouts, identifying potential issues and implementing solutions.
  • Strong physical stamina and hand-eye coordination, enabling effective manual labor and tool operation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, allowing for effective issue resolution and decision-making.
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring accurate work execution and high-quality outcomes.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills, facilitating collaboration and effective project management.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, enabling timely project completion and site access.
Compensation:

We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
