Your Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Construction Contract Specialist to support the project delivery teams with procurement and contract management of subcontract packages, cost forecasting, control and reporting, and administration of head contracts. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a dynamic environment and have a strong background in construction contracts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide assistance in procurement, letting, engagement, and administration of subcontractors and suppliers
  • Manage subcontracts post-contract execution
  • Process accruals and ensure costs are committed
  • Coordinate day-to-day commercial aspects of the site, invoicing, progress claims, and docket entry
  • Assist with variations with subcontractor and client
  • Evaluate/negotiate contractual claims with sub-contractors
  • Cost reporting and subcontractor cash flow forecasting

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Tertiary degree in Engineering, Commerce, Accounting, Business, Law, or associated disciplines
  • 5+ years' experience in building contracts
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word
  • High level of financial knowledge and communication skills with strong attention to detail
  • Able to demonstrate commitment to safety, teamwork, and ability to build strong relationships

Location

This role can be based in Sydney, Melbourne, Albury-Wodonga, or Wagga areas, with an attractive relocation package including removalist costs and LAFHA (for eligible individuals). FIFO/DIDO options are also available.
