Business Intelligence Analyst

We are seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality insights and solutions that drive business growth.

The role involves analyzing complex data sets, designing and developing data models, and creating visually compelling reports and dashboards using Power BI. The analyst must have strong technical skills, including proficiency in SQL, Python, and Azure Cloud Services.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements and objectives
  • Delivering verbal and written communication to stakeholders at all levels, with the ability to influence and present at a senior level
  • Analyzing data sources and identifying key metrics for reporting
  • Designing and developing data models that align with business requirements

Preferred qualifications include 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within the Retail Sector or Category analyst experience. Tertiary qualifications in IT are also desirable.

Responsibilities:

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Tertiary qualifications in IT
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Azure Cloud Services

Technical Skills:

  • SQL - Intermediate (data extraction & manipulation, procedures)
  • Python - Basic (pandas, beautiful soup)
  • MS Excel, PowerPoint - Intermediate (Pivot Tables, formulae)
  • Power BI - Advanced (report design, dashboard creation)
