Job Title: Claims Support Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Claims Support Officer to join our team in Brisbane. As a Claims Support Officer, you will play a critical role in providing support to our Personal Injury Claims teams, ensuring the smooth execution of business support and customer service functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lodge Personal Injury claims and investigate, gather, and follow-up additional information to complete the lodgement.
  • Validate claim details for lodgement and refer to business partners.
  • Manage complex escalations from business partners and manage Insurance phone queues.
  • Prepare, proof, and despatch outbound correspondence in support of claim lodgement and claim management.
  • Manage the request, receipt, and dispatch of claim information such as medical records.
  • Schedule independent medical examinations and other medical appointments and prepare and dispatch required documentation.
  • Undertake review and audit tasks as directed and perform general business support tasks as directed by leader.
  • Maintain your own Enlighten data.
Requirements:
  • Attention to detail and ability to accurately check and process tasks.
  • Change management skills and ability to recognise, understand, and support the need for change.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to convey and explain information, both oral and written.
  • Proficient keyboard skills and knowledge in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Customer service skills and commitment to increasing customer experience.
  • Decisiveness and ability to make effective decisions in a timely manner.
  • Planning and organisation skills and ability to establish a process to complete tasks.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to quickly grasp information and/or seek out information.
