Claims Support Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Claims Support Officer to join our team. As a Claims Support Officer, you will play a critical role in providing support to our Personal Injury Claims teams by executing business support and customer service functions.
Key Responsibilities:- Lodge Personal Injury claims and investigate, gather, and follow-up additional information to complete the lodgement process.
- Validate claim details for lodgement and refer to business partners.
- Manage complex escalations from business partners and Insurance phone queues.
- Prepare, proof, and despatch outbound correspondence in support of claim lodgement and claim management.
- Manage the request, receipt, and dispatch of claim information such as medical records.
- Schedule independent medical examinations and other medical appointments and prepare and dispatch required documentation.
- Undertake review and audit tasks as directed and perform general business support tasks as directed by leader.
- Maintain your own Enlighten data.
- Attention to detail and ability to accurately check and process tasks.
- Change management skills and ability to recognise, understand, and support the need for change.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to convey and explain information, both oral and written.
- Proficient keyboard skills and knowledge in Microsoft Office applications.
- Customer service skills and commitment to increasing customer experience and delivering high-quality solutions within required timeframes.
- Decisiveness and ability to make effective decisions in a timely manner.
- Planning and organisation skills and ability to establish a process to complete tasks and allocate appropriate resources.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to quickly grasp information and/or seek out information, break down problems and situations into simple lists of components, options, or alternatives.
