Claims Support Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Claims Support Officer to join our team. As a Claims Support Officer, you will play a critical role in providing support to our Personal Injury Claims teams, ensuring the smooth execution of business support and customer service functions.
Key Responsibilities:- Lodge Personal Injury claims and investigate, gather, and follow-up additional information to complete the lodgement process.
- Validate claim details for lodgement and refer to business partners, managing complex escalations as needed.
- Manage Insurance phone queues and perform general business support tasks as directed by your leader.
- Prepare, proof, and dispatch outbound correspondence in support of claim lodgement and claim management.
- Schedule independent medical examinations and other medical appointments, preparing and dispatching required documentation.
- Attention to detail and ability to accurately check and process tasks.
- Change management skills, with the ability to recognize, understand, and support the need for change and its impact on the team and self.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey and explain information clearly and confidently, both orally and in writing.
- Proficient keyboard skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Customer service skills, with a commitment to increasing customer experience and delivering high-quality solutions within required timeframes.
- Decisiveness, with the ability to make effective decisions in a timely manner.
- Planning and organization skills, with the ability to establish processes to complete tasks and allocate resources accordingly.
