Job Title: Business Development Manager - Structured Cabling Solutions

We are seeking an experienced professional to drive business growth and build long-term relationships with clients in Canberra and surrounding areas.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in structured cabling solutions, remote and onsite technical support, collaboration with sales teams, and contribution to the online Customer Service Portal system.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide technical support to ensure informed business decisions regarding warranties, installation practices, and relevant standards.
  2. Collaborate with sales teams to recognize the role as a value-add by internal staff and external customers.
  3. Work closely with global technical teams to share knowledge, develop aligned solutions, and create a seamless global technical organization.
  4. Contribute to the development of technical white papers, supporting documentation, and training materials.
  5. Maintain and update records, testing parameters, and other necessary information.

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of experience in a similar role, preferably from the structured cabling industry.
  • Strong understanding of the Structured Cabling marketplace in ANZ and deep technical knowledge of copper and fibre Structured Cabling Solutions.
  • Background in Structured Cabling Installation practices and solid understanding of relevant industry standards.
  • Strong organizational skills to anticipate, plan, prioritize, and manage workload independently.

  • BICSI - RCDD accreditation.
  • Ability to build relationships and influence key internal and external stakeholders.
