Role Overview

As part of the community programs team, you will play a vital role in delivering engaging playgroups and support services to families. Your ability to build strong relationships with children and their parents will be essential in creating a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere. You will adopt a flexible approach to meet families at their unique stages of parenting, while providing valuable insights into early childhood growth and development.

Key Qualifications:

  • Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education
  • Exceptional communication skills with families
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team
  • Expertise in modeling effective early childhood practices
  • Familiarity with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
  • Commitment to an inclusive educational approach
  • Understanding of WH&S policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of the Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) sector
  • Experience in facilitating playgroups (preferred)
  • Valid Working with Children Check
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Certification in identifying and responding to children at risk (preferred)
  • Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification
  • Valid driver's license
