The successful applicant will support the coordination of care needs of residents across the home, ensuring that individual needs, wishes, and goals are met within a supportive environment.
The key responsibilities include:
- Providing social and emotional support to all residents, ensuring holistic and person-centred care.
- Supporting the coordination of medication management, nutrition, and hydration for residents.
- Leading/supervising care on shifts, within designated wings or areas.
- Performing medicine-related tasks in accordance with qualifications, legislation, and policies.
- Relevant qualifications: Diploma of Enrolled Nursing (with APRHA Registration) or Certificate IV in Ageing Support.
- A high level of commitment, integrity, honesty, and trustworthiness.
- Effective communication skills, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to understand and use information technology and programs.
- Current National police check and working knowledge of WH&S and Infection Control.
- A desire to join a team committed to caring for others in a mission-based organisation.
