Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

Job Summary:
- Performs diagnostic and/or interventional ultrasound procedures at a technical level requiring independent judgment, under the direction of a qualified physician.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducts ultrasound examinations to diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
- Operates ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality images.
- Analyzes images to identify potential health issues.
- Provides results and recommendations to physicians.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field, or completion of a training program acceptable to their registry board.
- Registered ARRT or ARDMS required for ACR accredited sites upon hire.
- ICAVL accredited sites require registered ARRT or ARDMS, listed in the application as provisional technical staff.
- Must work under direct supervision and obtain appropriate vascular/General testing credentials within two years.
Educational Requirements:
- High School Diploma Required.
Certifications/Licenses:
- ARRT or ARDMS certification required.

- No prior experience is necessary.
