Op Shop Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled retail professional to manage the daily operations of our op shop.

  • This is an exciting opportunity for someone with leadership experience in a retail environment to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of animals.
About the Role

You will use your skills and experience to oversee the day-to-day running of the op shop, including managing volunteers, coordinating sales, and maintaining stock levels.

  • Represent the op shop team and brand through your passion for second-hand shopping, and encourage this enthusiasm within your team to create a positive store atmosphere
  • Work closely with the Op Shop Business Manager to support the goals and mission of the organisation
  • Maintain a high level of customer service
  • Train and support volunteers
  • Drive sales to achieve set targets
  • Oversee and review all goods for sale in the store
  • Direct and monitor the daily register opening & closing procedures
  • Maintain and periodically review the shop's pricing list
Requirements

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has confidence in retail and has demonstrated leadership experience in a retail environment (minimum of 2 years in a similar role)
  • Has knowledge of fashion and clothing brands
  • Has proven visual/merchandising skills
  • Has strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Has excellent customer service skills
  • Has a high level of organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Has sound computer skills
  • Has proven ability to work well under pressure
  • Can supervise & provide direction to a small team
