Senior Merchandise Development Manager

The role of the Senior Merchandise Development Manager is to manage business relationships with key retailers and develop opportunities for everyday and seasonal product ranges. This involves driving sales growth, expanding client portfolio, and end-to-end account management for all business-related requirements of key clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage pricing and margin mix to optimize profitability.
- Develop market research and up-to-date knowledge of retail and categories managed.
- Analyze retail sales performance to inform product range development.
This position requires a strong understanding of costs, wholesale, and retail price architecture. The ideal candidate has 8-12 years of work experience, with a minimum of 5 years in Account Management. Previous experience in soft or hardlines merchandise, as well as understanding and exposure to licensed merchandise, is required.
Essential Skills:- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to multitask and problem-solve.
- Strong organizational skills and commercial acumen.
- Able to work independently and within a wider team.
