Join a business in the middle of a major transformation, where change is creating opportunity and growth is firmly on the agenda. We're looking for a high-performing merchandise leader to take ownership of key strategic portfolio and help shape the future direction and growth of the category.
This is a role for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, enjoys working across functions, and is motivated by delivering results through strong supplier partnerships, smart promotional execution, and innovative merchandise strategies. With direct exposure to senior leadership, this is your chance to make a real commercial impact and grow your career as the business grows.
The Opportunity
You'll be responsible for shaping and delivering merchandise strategy across a diverse range of established brands. Working closely with suppliers, sales, marketing, and operations, you'll ensure commercial alignment, long-term growth, and seamless go-to-market execution. With oversight of a Product Specialist and direct exposure to senior leadership, this role offers the autonomy and influence to make a tangible impact on business performance.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead day-to-day supplier management, building breadth across multiple relationships and securing long-term value.
- Drive demand forecasting and inventory planning across multiple national distribution centres, ensuring strong stock turn and revenue growth.
- Oversee promotional programs and catalogue activity, developing compelling campaigns that deliver margin and customer impact.
- Collaborate across supply chain, sales, and marketing to deliver integrated go-to-market strategies.
- Support the broader transformation agenda by embedding consistency, structure, and process improvements.
About You
You'll bring 5–10 years' experience in merchandise or category management, ideally within retail or wholesale. You are commercially astute, resilient, and highly collaborative, with a proven ability to negotiate, influence and build strong supplier partnerships. Your strength in inventory planning and promotional execution will set you up for success. Above all, you'll be a customer-focused operator who thrives in dynamic environments of change and growth.
What's on Offer
This is a career-defining opportunity to join a highly regarded business at a time of transformation and growth. You'll enjoy an attractive package, exposure to senior decision-makers, and the chance to make a measurable impact on a significant revenue portfolio.
