Mobile Equipment Maintenance Professional

This role oversees the maintenance and performance of mobile equipment fleets, ensuring high mechanical standards, optimal availability, and efficiency for clients, while maintaining safety and excellence.

About the Role
  • Lead a skilled team to ensure optimal equipment availability aligned with project timelines.
  • Oversee service contracts and ensure KPIs and service expectations are met.
  • Drive high standards in equipment health, reliability, and asset performance.
  • Nurture strong working relationships with clients, particularly within Mining, Maintenance, and Procurement teams.
  • Promote a culture focused on safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A relevant trade qualification.
  • Mining Supervisor Certifications – G1, G8, G9, and G2.
  • Standard 11 Competency.
  • At least 5 years' experience managing heavy equipment maintenance in workshop and field environments.
  • Strong technical knowledge of heavy earthmoving equipment commonly used in mining operations.
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships and understand operational needs.
  • Solid understanding of HSET standards within QLD mining.
  • Strong commercial acumen aligned with project goals.
