Heavy Equipment Mechanic Role

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. As a Diesel Fitter, you will be responsible for performing repairs and preventative maintenance on a range of heavy equipment.

  • Carry out inspections to determine condition and suitability to return to service.
  • Complete preventative maintenance such as inspections, servicing and adjustments.
  • Conduct timely breakdown related maintenance such as troubleshooting, repairs and replacements.

The ideal candidate will have relevant trade qualifications and experience working with heavy equipment.

About You
  • Relevant diesel fitter / heavy vehicle trade qualifications or equivalent trade.
  • Proven experience with Caterpillar, Liebherr, Hitachi and Komatsu mining equipment highly desirable.
  • High levels of initiative and the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Safety focus with a high attention to detail to abide by site safety processes.
