Heavy Equipment Technician">

The role of a Heavy Equipment Technician involves the maintenance, repair and overhaul of underground mining equipment. This includes strip, rebuild, and assembly of gear to ensure optimal performance. A key requirement for this position is a trade certificate and relevant industry licenses.

Key Responsibilities:">
  • Undertake routine maintenance and repairs on underground mining equipment
  • Strip and rebuild heavy machinery in line with manufacturer specifications
  • Collaborate with technical teams to identify and address equipment issues

This project is expected to last between 4-6 weeks with potential extension based on company needs. To be considered for this role, candidates must reside locally or be willing to provide their own accommodation.

Candidates will work standard hours from Monday to Friday with the opportunity for overtime. Remuneration is competitive with hourly rates ranging from $60-$80 per hour plus penalties as outlined in relevant employment agreements.
