Job Role

The role of Unit Facility Management Specialist revolves around ensuring a safe and operational environment for the business and its customers.

This includes managing facilities management services through suppliers, monitoring quality, and maintaining compliance with safety standards and regulations.

As part of the Facilities Management team, you will be responsible for implementing efficient and reliable services to support the store's operations.

This may involve working closely with internal and external stakeholders to achieve common goals, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing solutions to drive continuous enhancement.

Responsibilities
  • Facilities Management: Manage FM services through direct suppliers, ensuring a safe and operational environment.
  • Quality Monitoring: Monitor and follow up on the quality of services delivered by suppliers, utilizing IKEA monitoring platforms and service agreements.
  • Audits and Compliance: Support FM related audits and annual reviews, maintaining compliance with local and national legislation, internal rules, and requirements.
  • Operational Efficiency: Assist in controlling operational costs, reducing utilities spend, and reviewing suppliers' invoices for accuracy.
Requirements
  • FM Expertise: Experienced in all aspects of FM related services, passionate about delivering reliable, efficient, and seamless services.
  • Contract Management: Experienced with strong contract management skills and a solution-focused mindset to resolve FM related issues.
  • Relationship Building: Able to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve a common goal.
  • Continuous Improvement: Able to identify opportunities and make recommendations to drive continuous improvement.
