Responsibilities:
  1. Manage and supervise kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation.
  2. Work closely with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef to oversee all operational aspects of the kitchen and related outlets.
  3. Ensure all employees adhere to strict hygiene and safety procedures, maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment.
  4. Assist with menu preparation, ensuring adequate supplies are available for expected service.
  5. Take charge of a section or the kitchen in the absence of the Executive or Sous Chefs.
  6. Prepare and present high-quality food for A la Carte, room service, functions, and buffet service.
  7. Demonstrate commitment to customer service, providing exceptional experiences for internal and external customers.
Requirements:
  1. Hold a full working right in Australia.
  2. Have experience as a Commi/Demi Chef, with a passion for food and a creative flair, preferably with knowledge in French cuisine.
  3. Be service-oriented, with an eye for detail and multicultural awareness.
  4. Be able to work independently and demonstrate initiative in a dynamic environment.
  5. Have strong focus and passion for hotel operations.
  6. Be confident and articulate in communication, negotiation, relationship, and networking skills.
  7. Be comfortable with guest interaction.
  8. Familiar with Food Safety and WHS legislation.
