Pastoral Care Leader

Transformative Opportunity in Student Wellbeing

This is a compelling chance for an experienced educator to spearhead the development and delivery of a comprehensive pastoral care program in our dedicated Junior School team.

  • Lead the teaching staff in developing and delivering a coherent pastoral care strategy that fosters student wellbeing, inclusivity, and effective partnerships.
  • Support students in achieving their full potential by cultivating a positive and inclusive school environment.
  • Collaborate with the Pastoral Care JS (Yr 3-6) leader to implement the principles of the Science of Wellbeing across years R-2.

Our institution is a multi-site, independent, co-educational setting founded in a liberal educational tradition. Our co-curricular activities promote cultural and physical growth in a caring, Christian environment.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A sound knowledge of early years students and suitable pastoral care programs.
  • Experience in leading teams and implementing effective pastoral care strategies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • The ability to set high standards for student behaviour and teacher performance.
  • Knowledge of and commitment to the principles of equal opportunity and work safety.
