The Maintenance Coordinator role is a key position within our organization, responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising maintenance activities to ensure the reliable, safe, and efficient operation of plant equipment and facilities.
This involves the effective management of people, resources, and maintenance systems to optimize equipment availability, reliability, and longevity within specified timeframes and in compliance with health, safety, environmental, and operational standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintenance Planning & Scheduling: Develop, manage, and optimize preventive maintenance plans for all equipment using computerized maintenance management systems.
- Coordination of Maintenance Activities: Facilitate execution of maintenance work by coordinating technicians, contractors, and required materials/tools.
- Equipment Performance & Reliability: Monitor and track asset performance metrics such as mean time to repair, mean time between failures, and availability.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all maintenance work complies with health, safety, and environmental regulations and internal standards.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong understanding of computerized maintenance management systems.
- Proficiency in maintenance planning, job scoping, and resource allocation.
- Familiarity with predictive and preventive maintenance methodologies.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and OEM manuals.
- High-level organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical problem-solving abilities.
