Job Purpose and Impact

In this hands-on position, you will execute daily and weekly site priorities and lead team members onsite, ensuring they are trained and competent to perform duties across various areas of operation, including harvest receptions, grain classification, stacking, tarping, site hygiene, grain outturn, road and rail operations, and general bunker management.

You will ensure that work priorities are executed safely while maintaining focus on quality and cost controls.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute routine operations in accordance with policies and procedures related to employee, food and feed safety, and environmental compliance.
  • Monitor production outcomes, quantity, and quality to ensure customer and food safety requirements are met.
  • Ensure operations align with budget guidelines.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service.
  • Implement operational plans at site.
  • Develop, supervise, and provide coaching to casual staff at site.
  • Perform other assigned duties.
Requirements
  • Experience with plant operations, equipment, and attachments, tractors, telehandlers, bulk material conveying, and small plant and hand tools.
  • Training and certifications provided for additional required licenses.
  • Experience within the grain industry or bulk material handling sector is highly regarded.
  • A sound understanding of Health & Safety standards and the ability to promote a proactive safety culture.
  • A practical approach to work tasks and the ability to problem-solve.
  • A valid driver's license is a mandatory requirement for this position.

This is a salaried role with flexible hours when needed to meet customer requirements.
