Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our project team. This role involves managing financial data, processing payments, and preparing reports.
About the Role:- Key responsibilities include preparing weekly payment batches, processing site and delivery dockets, purchase orders, supplier invoices, and maintaining financial records.
- Assisting with budget allocation and reviewing spend against procurement strategy.
- Ensuring accurate recording of actuals in monthly ledgers.
- Preparing and maintaining financial reports, office and equipment registers.
- A bachelor's degree in business/finance and prior experience in a similar role within a construction or project environment.
- Experience with financial data entry in online systems (JD Edwards highly regarded).
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (intermediate level).
- You are proactive, organised, and thrive in a fast-paced project environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data.
