Key Account Recovery Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Key Account Recovery Specialist to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for proactively contacting customers to facilitate payment of outstanding invoices, processing daily banking and customer payments, managing shared email inboxes and responding to internal/external queries.

The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work autonomously as well collaboratively in a team environment. You will also possess strong customer service skills and sound influencing and negotiating abilities.

  • Proactively contact customers to facilitate payment of outstanding invoices
  • Process daily banking and apply customer payments
  • Manage shared email inboxes and respond to internal/external queries
  • Reconcile debtors' ledgers and identify unapplied cash
  • Resolve invoice-related customer queries and escalate to Accounts Receivable Lead
  • Locate and send out invoice copies and proof of delivery
  • Upload invoice data into customer portals
  • Process customer refund requests and assist with customer data maintenance
  • Assist with month-end closing activities and assessments of new and existing customers
  • Other related duties as required to support the Credit Team

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in credit recovery within a large-scale organisation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and time management skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong customer service skills and sound influencing and negotiating abilities
