About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will manage a portfolio of clients with psychological or physical injuries, providing vocational assessments, reports, and counseling services to achieve the best possible outcomes.

  • Manage a portfolio of clients with psychological or physical injuries
  • Complete initial assessments and identify suitable goals
  • Identify barriers preventing clients from returning to work
  • Organise appropriate intervention with stakeholders
  • Provide vocational counseling
  • Conduct vocational assessments
  • Attend medical appointments with clients
  • Complete reports after assessments and meetings
  • Communicate with medical professionals regarding diagnoses and treatment
  • Facilitate a safe and timely graduated return to work
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A 4th year Psychology Graduate degree
  • Associate or Full membership with ASORC as a Rehabilitation Counsellor (Graduates with an honours degree in Psychology are eligible)
  • A car and valid Driver's license
  • A police check or willingness to obtain a police check prior to commencement
  • The ability to build strong stakeholder relationships
  • The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
