Young People Therapeutic Care Specialist

Our Residential Care Program provides a safe and nurturing environment for children and young people aged 10 to 17.
These individuals, placed under Child Protection orders, come to us when other Out of Home Care options are not feasible.
The role requires resilience, compassion, and a commitment to the growth and well-being of these young people.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality therapeutic care as part of a dedicated team.
- Implement current best practice therapeutic interventions and program guidelines to ensure child safety.
- Support young people in their educational, social, and recreational pursuits while fostering independence.
- Create a safe home environment, including managing household duties and providing nutritious meals.
- You must be a team player with strong communication skills and active listening.
- A minimum Cert IV in Child, Youth & Family Intervention or equivalent qualification is required.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and multitasking are essential for this role.
- A driver's license is necessary for transporting young people.
