Job Description

The Loan Processing Specialist plays a vital role in the mortgage industry, overseeing the processing of loan applications from initial submission to settlement.

Responsibilities

  • Effective communication with customers via email and phone to provide exceptional customer service and support throughout their journey.
  • Coordinating meetings between brokers and customers to facilitate loan transactions.
  • Working closely with brokers to gather necessary documents, rename files, and ensure all required information is accurate and complete.
  • Verifying document accuracy and contacting banks, broker support teams, and BDMs as needed to resolve any issues.
  • Ordering valuations, pricing, and credit checks to facilitate loan approvals.
  • Completing post-settlement tasks and reviewing financial statements and supporting documents for servicing and scenario research purposes.
  • Assisting brokers in checking deals, policies, and scenarios with banks and lenders to ensure compliance and identify suitable solutions for clients.
  • Preparing and submitting mortgage applications, working closely with brokers to structure loans and identify client-centric solutions.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • At least 2+ years of experience in the AU Mortgage industry.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to build strong relationships.
