Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Public Relations and Communications Leader to join our team at News Corp Australia.

About the Role

This is a leadership role that will provide hands-on experience in managing public relations campaigns, leading a small team, and collaborating with agency partners. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication and writing skills, a keen interest in news and current affairs, and a positive attitude thriving in a fast-paced environment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute PR campaigns by researching, brainstorming, and developing PR concepts and strategies to promote News Corp Australia's journalists and journalism across various news brands.
  • Manage junior team members to monitor, track, and report on key coverage in partnership with Meltwater to measure the effectiveness of PR campaigns.
  • Collaborate with senior editorial and marketing leaders and teams to develop compelling PR campaigns.
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders including editors, journalists, producers, content creators, and influencers.
  • Oversee media attendance and logistics at events managed by News Corp Australia's events team.
