Public Relations and Marketing Coordinator

At sass & bide, we’re seeking a dynamic Public Relations and Marketing Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our marketing department, you will play a vital role in supporting our brand’s annual plans and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Public Relations:
    • Build and nurture PR relationships to drive brand awareness and credibility.
    • Support the development of a PR plan to align with our brand’s objectives.
    • Analyse metrics of PR initiatives and activities to inform future strategies.
    • Work closely with external PR consultants on event planning and organisation.
    • Manage editorial lists, influencer and KOL databases, and sample trackers.
  • Brand Marketing:
    • Assist in the pre- and post-production of seasonal photoshoots and content creation.
    • Develop EDM and SEO optimisation strategies to increase brand awareness.
    • Monitor competitors, market trends, and perform market research to stay ahead of the curve.
    • Support the development of marketing strategies to drive sales and increase brand consideration.
  • Retail Marketing:
    • Prepare marketing collateral for in-store marketing activities, including new store openings and exits.
    • Manage local area marketing activity and monitor opportunities.
    • Be the primary contact for Myer and David Jones marketing teams.
    • Liaise with shopping centre stylists to provide samples for campaign launches and fashion shows.
  • Social Media:
    • Populate topline social media activity into the marketing calendar.
    • Work with the graphics team to create assets for external partners’ social media channels.
    • Support the Group Social Media Manager in executing influencer partnerships and social media competitions.

Requirements:

  • Marketing or Communications degree or relevant experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in PR and/or marketing, preferably in the fashion industry.
  • Strong multitasking and prioritisation skills.
  • Customer-centric approach with a focus on delivering exceptional results.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
