Job Title: PR & Communications Intern

As a PR & Communications Intern at NBCUniversal, you will play a vital role in assisting the Communications and PR team with external communications and public relations across our lifestyle, entertainment, and family portfolio of channels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Head of Communications and PR to develop external communications strategies and promote new and exciting shows and/or channels.
  • Target media outlets and craft pitches to secure coverage and promote programming priorities.
  • Monitor and track media coverage for channels and priority series, providing regular reports to the team.
  • Assist with the creation and distribution of monthly programming highlights to media outlets.
  • Write and tailor international media releases for the local market, ensuring timely and accurate information.
  • Support talent relations, including interviews, on-ground shoots, and red carpet events.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to deliver assets, including images and screeners, for media and promotional purposes.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a passion for PR, media, entertainment, and the television/film industry.
  • Currently undertaking university study in communications or a related field, with a keen interest in working in media and developing a career within the broadcast and entertainment industry.
