Empowering individuals with disabilities to lead fulfilling lives requires a supportive and dedicated team.

Melba Support Services is actively seeking a Registered Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner to work remotely or travel within Victoria as needed.

We deliver services underpinned by human rights and person-centred practices, ensuring every action enhances the lives of people living with disabilities.

As a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will uphold human rights and provide trauma-informed support.

**Key Responsibilities:**

Manage a clinical case load with a focus on person-centred and trauma-informed approaches, prioritizing human rights protection.

Develop positive behaviour support plans based on functional behaviour assessments, enhancing quality of life and reducing restrictive practices.

Provide supervision to other practitioners.

**About You:**

Registered Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner with NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission certification.

Working knowledge of Disability Act 2006 (Vic) and NDIS Quality and Safeguarding framework.

Experience supporting individuals who use behaviours of protest/concern using active support and positive behaviour support principles.

Demonstrated ability to provide advice, support, coaching, and mentoring through a trauma-informed lens.

Tertiary qualification in a relevant field.

**Requirements:**

NDIS Worker screening Check.

Working with Children Check.

Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination status, including booster.

Transport and Victorian Drivers License.
