About the Opportunity:

As a seasoned professional, you will collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and implement a comprehensive Health Safety Wellbeing Management System within operational frameworks. This role involves leading strategic improvement initiatives to ensure compliance of the OIR HSW Management System.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project coordination
  • Supporting the implementation of the OIR HSW Management System
  • Analyzing safety system performance, regulatory compliance and due diligence
  • Supporting the design and implementation of health and safety management plans
  • Representing the organization in health and safety matters

About the Team:

The Organisational Safety team is part of the Organisational Culture and Safety unit that drives strategic programs aligned to health and safety outcomes. Key responsibilities include:

  • Establishing and maintaining a contemporary health, safety and wellbeing management system
  • Building manager and employee capability in work health and safety requirements
  • Partnering with business units to support effective hazard identification, risk management and incident investigation
  • Promoting awareness of health and safety hazards and supporting control measures
  • Co-ordinating engagement with health and safety representatives (HSRs)

What We Are Looking For:

Candidates should possess strong project management skills, experience in health and safety management and the ability to lead and influence others. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
