Key Responsibilities:- Analyse project specifications, including depth, duration, and welding tasks.
- Identify and mitigate potential hazards associated with the dive, including environmental conditions and equipment risks.
- Ensure diving gear and welding equipment are in proper working order.
- Execute dives in pressurised environments, adjusting techniques as needed.
- Conduct thorough inspections of underwater structures, using visual and tactile methods to identify corrosion, cracks, or other signs of wear.
- Use hand tools and specialized equipment to perform repairs on damaged structures.
- Assist in the assembly or installation of underwater structures, including laying pipes, constructing foundations, and setting buoys or anchors.
- Operate various tools and equipment to carry out construction tasks efficiently and safely.
- Conduct routine checks of diving and equipment before and after dives.
- Adhere to established safety regulations and procedures.
- Maintain detailed records of dive parameters for regulatory compliance and project tracking.
- Document all activities, including materials used and inspection results.
- Collaborate with other divers, engineers, and support personnel to ensure seamless project execution.
- Monitor and evaluate underwater environmental factors to minimize ecological impact.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar position.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and focus.
- Excellent physical strength and stamina.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Availability to work overtime and travel to conduct works onsite as required.
