About This Role




  • As a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic / Maintenance Mechanic, you will play an integral part within our workshop team in our Townsville Depot.
  • You will be conducting all facets of preventative maintenance and repair of heavy rigid vehicles including brakes, steering, suspension, hydraulics, and fabrication.


Our teams are dedicated to providing a safe and reliable service to our customers, and we are seeking a motivated and skilled individual to join our team of Heavy Vehicle Mechanics.



About You




  • You will have trade qualifications as a Truck Mechanic - Heavy Commercial Vehicles.
  • You will demonstrate an exceptional eye for detail.
  • You will be required to complete pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol testing.
  • A HR licence (preferred but not essential) will be an advantage.
  • You will have a good mechanical aptitude.
  • You will demonstrate a professional and outcome focus.
  • You will work well individually and as part of a team.
  • You will be dedicated and reliable, as we are an essential services industry.
  • You will demonstrate the ability to build rapport and relationships with all stakeholders.
  • You will be dedicated to achieving high standards of safety compliance and customer service.
