Position Overview:

The Retail Sales Manager will oversee all consumer sales channels in Australia. This role involves crafting strategies and implementing tactics to enhance our presence across retail and e-commerce platforms, aiming to broaden our product portfolio and drive revenue growth. You will manage key retail and e-commerce accounts to ensure optimal coverage of our channel partners and facilitate expansion into new market segments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the Australian consumer sales channel, including major retail and e-commerce accounts that contribute significantly to overall revenue.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customer headquarters.
  • Enhance our online and physical store visibility across all product categories, establishing clear performance indicators and tracking systems.
  • Formulate and execute strategies to penetrate new customer segments and markets.
  • Create and implement quarterly promotional and marketing initiatives aligned with our strategic objectives to boost end-user demand and brand visibility.
  • Manage relationships with key distributors to optimize their operational efficiency.
  • Conduct ongoing analysis of sales trends, market share, and competitive landscape.
  • Develop and track key performance metrics related to store presence, product assortment, and market expansion.
  • Collaborate closely with the finance team to ensure effective cost management and enhance customer profitability.

Qualifications:

  • University degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least eight years of sales experience in consumer channels within Australia, with established relationships in the consumer electronics retail sector.
  • Strong affinity for information technology and consumer electronics.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently.
  • Detail-oriented with structured work habits.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with a talent for building relationships.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in managing sales data.
  • Adaptable to change and eager to stay informed about product innovations in a dynamic market.
  • Proficient in digital tools, including MS Excel and PowerPoint, as well as various online reporting platforms.
