Position Overview:

The Retail Sales Manager will oversee all consumer sales channels across Australia, focusing on developing effective strategies and tactics to enhance our presence in both retail and e-commerce sectors. This role involves managing key retail and e-commerce accounts to ensure optimal coverage of our channel partners while executing plans to penetrate new market segments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the Australian consumer sales channel, including major retail and e-commerce accounts that contribute significantly to revenue.
  • Manage relationships with additional retail and e-commerce partners.
  • Build and maintain strong connections with customer headquarters personnel.
  • Enhance our online and physical presence across all product categories, establishing clear KPIs and a robust performance tracking system.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enter new customer segments and markets for our offerings.
  • Create quarterly promotional and marketing plans aligned with our strategic product objectives to boost end-user demand and increase brand visibility.
  • Manage key distributors and work to enhance their operational efficiency.
  • Conduct ongoing analysis of sales and marketing trends, market share, and competitive landscape.
  • Formulate strategies to achieve key performance metrics, including store count, product assortment per store, in-house share, shelf space, and new product placements.
  • Collaborate regularly with the finance team to ensure effective cost management and improve customer profitability.

Qualifications:

  • University degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • A minimum of eight years of sales experience in consumer channels within Australia, with established relationships in the consumer electronics retail sector.
  • Strong affinity for information technology and consumer electronics products and solutions.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently.
  • Detail-oriented with structured work processes.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a strong ability to build relationships.
  • Analytical mindset with experience working with detailed sales data.
  • Adaptable to change and eager to learn about new products and solutions in a dynamic market.
  • Proficient in digital tools such as MS Excel, PowerPoint, and various online reporting platforms.
