About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our team at JD Sports Australia. As a Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a unique and memorable shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Act as a brand ambassador, showcasing our extensive range of sports fashion products and providing expert knowledge to customers.
  2. Assist customers with all queries and process sales transactions efficiently and effectively.
  3. Work collaboratively with the wider management and store team to achieve sales targets and key performance indicators.
  4. Support the team with various tasks, including visual merchandising, store maintenance, and presentation.
  5. Escalate any customer complaints to management and resolve issues promptly.
  6. Complete mandatory training and development programs to enhance product knowledge and skills.
Requirements
  1. Previous customer service experience in retail, hospitality, or a related industry.
  2. Passion for sports fashion and a strong understanding of the latest trends.
  3. Positive attitude, with a can-do approach and a willingness to learn and develop.
  4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with customers and colleagues.
  6. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on store needs.
