Job Title

Expert Clinical Advisor for Resuscitation Education

This is a key leadership position working across Mercy Hospital for Women in Heidelberg and Werribee Mercy Hospital. As an expert clinical advisor, you will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating multidisciplinary education programs that align with the Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines.

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating quality improvement activities
  • Working collaboratively with key stakeholders to develop educational strategies related to resuscitation
  • Leading multidisciplinary education programs

To thrive in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt and problem solve
  • Registered Nurse Division One with the AHPRA
  • Post-Graduate Diploma in Critical Care Nursing or equivalent with a minimum of 4 years clinical experience in a critical care area
  • Current accredited Advanced Life Support Adult and Paediatric certification

The successful candidate will possess a compassionate, flexible and positive approach to effective patient care and management. They will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

  • A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check
  • Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders
